Indore, Oct 17 (ANI): The Election commission issued a show-cause notice to Madhya Pradesh Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya for violating the model code of conduct by distributing cash to people during a function. The district collector, Indore, Akash Tripathi, said that the Election Commission has asked Vijayvargiya to reply by October 18. While defending himself, Vijayvargiya, said that he would work in accordance with the norms of the election commission. Oct 17, 2013

Gurgaon, Oct 17 (ANI): A group of men allegedly armed with chains, iron rods and hockey sticks assaulted Delhi-Gurgaon expressway toll staff and looted Rs 1.85 lakh. The men came in a black Scorpio with a red beacon light, beat up the toll plaza staff, grabbed the cash and fled.
