Ghaziabad, May 19 (ANI): Yoga Guru Ramdev on Monday praised the RSS and BJP workers for their hard work in attaining the victory BJP has achieved in General Elections. He said that the entire world is discussing the BJP’s victory for which party and Sangh workers and supporters had made tremendous efforts. He added that the change has come and it will be taken to the next level. Ramdev was in a procession while returning to Haridwar ashram through Ghaziabad. Two Maoists injured in fierce gun battle with police in Jharkhand

Ramgarh, May 19 (ANI): A fierce encounter with police personnel injured two Maoists in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Prasad said the team got the success in countering the rebels. Maoists, also known as Naxals, have killed police and politicians, and targeted government buildings and railway tracks in an insurgency that has killed thousands since the 1960s. Four engineering students drown in West Bengal

Bankura, May 19 (ANI): Four engineering students drowned while taking bath in a water barrage in Bankura district of West Bengal. The incident happened when 11 students from B.C. Roy Engineering College went at the Durgapur water barrage. Three students, who have been identified as Aditya Roy, Chandrajit Kumar and Nitish Kumar, drowned while rescuing their fellow Shubham Pankaj, who fell in water and did not know how to swim. EC submits list of newly elected MPs to President

New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): The Election Commission on Sunday submitted the list of newly elected members of the 16th Lok Sabha to President Pranab Mukherjee. A three-member EC team headed by Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath handed over the list containing the names of all 543 Members of Parliament to the President.
