Music video launched on Modi's Clean India vision

Mumbai, Oct 29 (ANI): Singer and Producer Ravindra Singh along with singer Mohit Chauhan launched a music video supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Clean India mission and his vision of development, in showbiz capital Mumbai. Modi had launched the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' or Clean India Mission, on birth anniversary of freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi to modernise sanitation within five years. The video titled 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' (One India, glorious India) has been released to create awareness among the masses on cleanliness. Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini and top sporting stars like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahindra Singh Dhoni, Saina Nehwal, Mary Kom and Sushil Kumar feature in the video. The video is directed by film and television actor, Rajeev Khandelwal, and lyrics are given by Rani Malik. New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Wednesday after the Government of India submitted the list of all black money account holders to the Supreme Court as directed. The Supreme Court on Wednesday was told by the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government that it would require time till March 31, 2015 to complete all income-related assessments of people found guilty of parking ill-gotten money (black money) in banks abroad to facilitate an accurate probe and subsequent punitive action. Politicos react after LG Najeeb Jung says will explore government formation options

New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Wednesday after LG Najeeb Jung said that he will explore the possibility of government formation in Delhi over the next few days. BJP's Delhi unit President Satish Upadhyay said that Najeeb Jung was made governor by Congress and not by BJP and so he won't take decisions which may favor BJP. However, Congress leader JP Aggarwal said that 35 MLAs have submitted letters to Jung seeking fresh elections in Delhi and still Jung wants to hold consultations with all the political parties. Rajkot, Oct 29 (ANI): Farmers sold off their groundnut and cotton yields to avoid any impact on their crops from cyclone Nilofar, which is expected to hit Gujarat coast in a couple of days. Nilofar, classified as a 'very severe cyclonic storm', is expected to weaken to a 'cyclonic storm' when it makes landfall on the Gujarat coast, according to the Indian Meteorological Department. Farmers are preparing for any untoward incident as Nilofar, which originated in the Arabian Sea, is likely to make a landfall on the coastal areas of Saurashtra and Kutch regions. Prasad was inaugurating the Postal Savings Banks Forum in New Delhi, which was organized by World Savings and Retail Banking Institute (WSBI) jointly with the National Savings Organisation (Ministry of Finance) and the Department of Posts. The theme of the forum was "The Rising Force of Postal Banking in the Retail Banking Market". Prasad said that postal banking transcended the rich and poor barrier, the biggest asset being the network of post offices throughout the country.
