Pro and anti-Telangana supporters clash outside Andhra Bhawan in Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 05 (ANI): Scores of pro and anti-Telangana protesters broke into a scuffle outside Andhra Bhawan in New Delhi on Wednesday over the Telangana Bill, which is expected to be tabled in the current session of the Parliament that began today. Supporters from both sides of the divide were holding the protests outside the Andhra Bhawan when the scuffle began. The Centre is determined to introduce the bill in Parliament. After the cabinet's clearance, the bill will be sent to the President and then brought to Parliament for a debate and vote. However, the final session of Parliament got off to a noisy start today as Seemandhra and Telangana MPs sparred with each other on the floor of the two Houses as soon as they assembled for the day, forcing their adjournment for an hour. Political parties demand raise in expense limit for parliament polls

New Delhi, Feb 5 (ANI): Most of India's political parties urged the Election Commission to raise the expenditure limit for the upcoming parliament polls in a meeting with the panel, said senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi. The BJP argued that steep inflation had made the current slab of rupees 1.6 million to four million infeasible. However, Delhi's ruling Aam Aadmi Party said it was happy with the current limits.
