He said that there was no chance of getting any results out of this case wherein the commission is set up by Modi himself. Arjun Modhwadia said that the present commission was a 'Modi saving commission' and that the central government should have appointed the judge long before. New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh said that if the Congress party is pushed into opposition after a general election, it would give its backing to a major tax reform it tried to bring during 10 years in office. Ramesh criticised BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for blocking the general services tax (GST), which is aimed at easing doing business, raising revenues and boosting growth. SC reconstitutes SIT to probe into black money case

New Delhi, May 02 (ANI): Supreme Court directed the central government to appoint former Justice MB Shah as chairman of Special Investigation Team (SIT), constituted to investigate cases of black money stashed in foreign banks. Assam, May 02 (ANI): Suspected Bodo militants killed at least10 people in two separate incidents in Kokrajhar and Baksa districts of Assam. In the first incident suspected Bodo militants entered a house and fired indiscriminately, killing three members of a family including two women and injuring an infant in the Baksa district on Thursday night. The severely injured infant was rushed to the nearby hospital as he suffered injuries from the bullet.
