Politicos react on RJD-JD (U) alliance in upcoming polls

New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): Political leaders on Wednesday reacted over reports of RJD-JD (U) alliance in the upcoming assembly polls in Bihar. JD (U) leader Ali Anwar said that Lalu and Nitish Kumar should come forward together with other secular parties in order to prevent BJP from coming to power in Bihar. NCP leader Tariq Anwar stated that RJD and JD (U) want to get together for the sake of strengthening against BJP. New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): Dabangg superstar Salman Khan has confirmed that he will be a part of filmmaker Karan Johar_s most talked about project _Shuddhi_. According to reports, Salman Khan revealed that he will be a part of one of Karan Johar_s films at a recent press conference for _Kick_. When asked which film would that be, he said, _Shuddhi_. Salman has replaced Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan in the film. Last year, Hrithik Roshan had walked out of the project citing date issues. Soon after Hrithik Roshan_s departure, the film_s lead actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also walked out of the film. Earlier this year, Salman Khan had stated that he had been after Karan Johar to do a film with him for a very long time. England pacer Anderson charged with offence under ICC_s Code of Conduct

New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): England fast bowler James Anderson has been charged under Level 3 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel by India team manager Sunil Dev following an alleged incident that took place on the second day of the first cricket Test at Trent Bridge. The alleged offence has been reported under Article 2.3.3 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel. Anderson has been charged for allegedly abusing and pushing Ravindra Jadeja immediately after they left the field for lunch. It is alleged that this was a continuation of a verbal altercation between Anderson and Jadeja as they were walking from the field. Israel resumes airstrikes as ceasefire fails

Kolkata/ Srinagar/ Gaza, July 16 (ANI): Israel resumed airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, six hours after agreeing to an Egyptian-proposed truce that failed to halt Hamas rocket attacks. For the first time in more than a week of fighting, an Israeli civilian was killed by a rocket fired from the Gaza strip. Hamas has claimed responsibility for launching the short-range rocket. The Israeli military says around 80 rockets have been fired at Israel since the Hamas armed wing rejected a ceasefire just hours ago. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that they'll intensify their offensive. The continuous killings have claimed more than 200 lives in the ongoing offensive. Meanwhile, Muslims across India staged a massive protest against the killing of innocent Palestine Muslims by the Israel military forces in Gaza. Members of Human Rights Protection Association (HRPA) organised a protest in front of Gandhi statue in Kolkata against the Gaza assault.
