New land acquisition law will defeat Maoist influence: Jairam Ramesh

Jodhpur, Sep 15 (ANI): Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh asserted that the recently enacted Land Acquisition Bill will eliminate the influence of Maoists in tribal-dominated areas in the country. He stated this while addressing a news conference at Jodhpur in Rajasthan on Sunday. Further he said that the Maoist outfits were holding their influence in several regions mainly on the issues of forest areas.
