Congress files 3 complains to EC against BJP

GoM to meet over bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh

New Delhi, Nov 18 (ANI): The Group of Ministers (GoM), which is looking after the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh will wrap up the consultation process on Monday after meeting Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and all Union ministers representing the state separately. Reddy has already stated that he will oppose the state's division before the GoM. Interacting with the reporters, Jaipal Reddy said that he and three other ministers from Telangana region would attend the meeting on Monday. After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, the creation of Telangana would lead to the formation of India's 29th state.

India- Bangladesh agree to work against militants

Akhaurah, Nov 18 (ANI): Addressing a joint press conference Bangladesh Home Minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir promised to hand over any Indian militant caught hiding in its territory to India. Alamgir and his Indian counterpart Sushil Kumar Shinde met to inaugurate a multi purpose integrated checkpost along the border in Akhaura. Alamgir said Indian militant Anup Chetia, currently lodged in a jail in Bangladesh, would be extradited after the completion of judicial formalities.

Tewari on Sunday (November 17) lashed the opposition party over alleged snooping by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's close aide Amit Shah on a young woman in 2009. Sharpening his attack, Tewari said it was 'brazen assault on civil liberty by state sponsored stalking'.
