People protest against violence in poll-bound Bangladesh

Dhaka, Dec 07 (ANI): People of Bangladesh, including the freedom fighters of the Bangladesh Liberation War, protested against poll-related violence in the country. At least 25 people were killed across the country during nationwide protests called by opposition parties over setting up of a caretaker government during January polls. A veteran freedom fighter, Ali Ahmed Ziauddin, blamed both the main political parties - the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and ruling Awami League - for the bloodshed in the country. President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, Mujahidul Islam Selim, urged people to fight against the darkness prevailing in the country.
