Will lodge FIR against BJP for pelting stones: AAP

New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): AAP Leader Prashant Bhushan on Thursday said that his party will lodge an FIR against BJP for pelting stones at them. He also said that AAP will also file a complaint to the Election Commission.

Shouldnt have retaliated even after facing hours of provocation: Shazia Ilmi

New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): Hours after the Delhi Police filed FIR against AAP workers for clashes with BJP workers outside the BJP national headquarters on Wednesday, party leader Shazia Ilmi, who has also been named in the FIR, said that they were carrying out a peaceful protest. She added that the BJP workers started pelting stones and the AAP workers retaliated after hours of provocation. She also slammed the Delhi police for not taking action against BJP workers.

Delhi Police on FIR against AAP workers

New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): The Delhi Police on Thursday filed FIR against AAP workers for clashes with BJP workers outside the BJP national headquarters on Wednesday, after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal was briefly detained in Gujarat. The police has registered a case of rioting and destruction of public property against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders Shazia Ilmi and Ashutosh and arrested 14 AAP members for the clashes.

Kejriwal apologizes for clashes between AAP, BJP

Bhuj, Mar 6 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, who is in Gujarat to 'assess' the level of development in the state, has apologized for the violence and street clashes between AAP and Bharatiya Janata Party workers in Delhi, Lucknow and many other places and appealed for calm. Non-performing assets biggest challenge for public sector banks: Chidambaram

New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): Reviewing performance of public sector banks, Finance Minister P Chidambaram said "biggest challenge faced by PSU banks is non-performing assets and their asset qualities". Chidambaram said that credit disbursal to medium- sized industry has declined and was only "satisfactory" in the agricultural sector. Chidambaram also said that a large part of the meeting with banks' chiefs was focused on bad loans and the steps needed for the recovery.
