Mumbai, April 03 (ANI): A young BJP candidate, Poonam Mahajan before filing her nomination papers sought God’s blessings as she got ready to make her debut in ‘politics of dynasty’. Mahajan on Thursday visited different places of worship including temples, mosques, memorial of late politicians to pay her obeisance. Mahajan, daughter of slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, who will be contesting as BJP candidate from Mumbai, vowed to give a tough fight to other candidates. Slamming Congress for underdevelopment, Mahajan said that she was hopeful of winning the elections.

Bhaichung Bhutia strikes chord with voters in run-up to LS polls

Ramdev slams Congress while campaigning for BJP in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, April 03 (ANI): Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday accused the Congress party of creating barriers between the masses while beating drums for BJP’s win in 2014 general elections during a rally in Chandigarh. BJP’s candidate Kirron Kher who is contesting the elections from Chandigarh constituency was also present. Ramdev further said that she was a ray of hope against Congress candidate Pawan Bansal who is also contesting from the same constituency. Textiles Minister KS Rao resigns over bifurcation of AP

New Delhi, April 03 (ANI): Union Textiles Minister KS Rao on Thursday submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over the issue of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
