Balasinor, Mar 11 (ANI): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took a dig at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's 'security guard' jibe at his home turf Gujarat. Rahul said that the people of India do not need a security guard, but they need their rights. Modi had earlier requested the people in his rally to make him the Chowkidaar of the country. New Delhi, March 11 (ANI): Deputy Chairman of India's Planning Commission, Montek Singh Ahluwalia on Tuesday called for lifting of restrictions on renewable energy during a conference on 'Financing Renewable and Energy Efficient Technologies' in the national capital of New Delhi. Secretary of US Department of Energy, Ernest Moniz was also present at the conference, organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). 20 jawans feared dead in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack

Raipur, Mar 11 (ANI): At least 20 jawans are feared dead and several others have been injured in an encounter between the Naxals and security forces in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh today. According to reports, the encounter went on for over three hours. Fresh spell of snowfall in Kashmir

Srinagar, March 11 (ANI): A fresh spell of snowfall enveloped Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, plummeting temperature and forcing people to remain indoors. Trees, roads and rooftops of houses in mountainous regions were covered with snow. The fresh snowfall however, will help maintain the water-level in rivers and will boost the production of fruits and crops. Normal life in many parts of north India has also been adversely affected due to the harsh weather conditions. EC bans NaMo tea stall, draws reaction

New Delhi, March 11 (ANI): After Election Commission puts ban on BJP’s ‘NaMo’ tea stall election campaign, BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the party workers are requested to function without breaking model code of conduct and the order by the EC will be followed.
