Politicos criticize Akhilesh Yadav for his 'Google' remark

New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): Cutting across party lines, political leaders criticized Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday over his recent statement in which he said that Google shows incidents of rape in other places too. BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that Yadav should understand that ever since his government came to power in UP, the state has gone from bad to worse. He also advised that Yadav should correct the message instead of correcting the messenger, and added that by criticizing media he is encouraging the unwanted elements, who are committing crimes. SC rejects Subrata Roy's bail plea

New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday once again rejected a bail plea of Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy. A bench of justices T S Thakur and A K Sikri, who had on May 29, reserved its order after hearing arguments from the counsel of Sahara Group and the SEBI on the fresh plea of Roy, has now referred the sahara case to a 3-judge bench. The court allowed Sahara to sell nine of its real estate assets in India to raise part of the money, but sought more information on the three overseas hotels the group had offered to sell.
