CPMT exam cancelled in UP after paper leak

Lucknow, June 22 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical test (CPMT) exam was cancelled on Sunday after the examination paper for entrance to medical colleges in the state was found to have been leaked in Ghaziabad. The case came to light after the officials found tampering with the boxes in which the examination papers were kept in Allahabad Bank and State Bank of India. The District Magistrate reached the spot to examine the boxes and then informed the administration after which orders were issued to cancel the examination. During the operation, the police recovered 125 serial bombs, which were defused, three pressure cooker bombs, 100 metres codex wire and 23 grenades.
