US Senator John McCain meets Sushma Swaraj

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): US Senator John McCain, who arrived India on a two day visit, met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday. McCain is also likely to meet defence and finance Minister Arun Jaitley and national security advisor Ajit Doval. He is also expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday in an apparent bid to give a fresh momentum to bilateral ties Between India and US after the formation of the BJP-led government. Singapore Foreign Minister eyes stronger relationship with India

Sunanda Pushkar death case: Delhi Police Commissioner assures full investigation

New Delhi, July 02 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Wednesday assured full investigation of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Congress leader, Shashi Tharoor's wife, Sunanda Pushkar. The statement was made in wake of the Head of the forensic department of India's specialty hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Dr. Gupta revealing that he was compelled to submit a fabricated report in the Sunanda death case.
