New Delhi, Aug 01 (ANI): Opposition parties on Friday created ruckus in Rajya Sabha over the issue of regional language aspirants having disadvantage in Civil Services examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) leading to two adjournments during Question Hour. Immediately after obituary reference to Pune landslide victims, opposition members including Congress, SP and JD (U) raised the issue of UPSC examination pattern. Minister of State for PMO, Jitendra Singh said that the report is prepared, however the government needs more time to study the same.Meanwhile, CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury and JD (U) Chief Sharad Yadav questioned Singh on the government's inability to give statement on the issue till the time given earlier. New Delhi, Aug 01 (ANI): Petrol price was cut by Rs. 1.09 per litre, the second reduction in three-and-half months while the diesel price was hiked by 56 paise a litre. The revisions were made effective from midnight Thursday, Indian Oil Corp, the nation's largest oil firm, announced. Petrol in Delhi will cost Rs 72.51 per litre from today as against Rs 73.60 a litre earlier. Similarly, diesel will be priced at Rs 58.40 per litre from today as compared to the previous Rs 57.84.
