Politicos react after TMC calls NSA Ajit Doval a 'RSS sympathiser'

Allahabad/Lucknow, Nov 24 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday after Trinamool Congress called the National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval a 'RSS sympathiser' and said that Burdwan blast isd the gameplan of RSS and has been hatched at its headquarters. BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh condemning TMC said that even PM Modi belongs to RSS and hence such remarks concerning RSS should not be made. CPI leader Atul Anjan, however, said that Ajit Doval has a communal perspective which is not right for the country.

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): BSF Chief Mayawati on Monday said that her party won't raise voice against the Insurance bill unnecessarily in the Lok Sabha. Taking a dig at KC Tyagi, Mayawati said that Tyagi should speak for his party after KC Tyagi speculated that Mayawati led BSP would oppose the Insurance bill. Mayawati added that decision on Insurance bill will be taken after the reports of Select Committee are revealed.

Political parties look forward to constructive Parliament winter session as they are set to take up

New Delhi, Nov 24 (ANI): As winter session of the Parliament commences on Monday, political parties look forward to a constructive session and are all set to take up varied issues. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the government is ready to discuss on any matter and they do not have conflicting attitude. Congress leader Manish Tewari talked about issues that the party is to take up in the session which includes black money among others. NCP leader Tariq Anwar hoped for a constructive session and said that party will coordinate but will debate on issues that won't be acceptable. Meanwhile, CPI leader Atul Anjan said that the party will take up issues of black money, inflation on back on which the BJP made promises to come to power.

LGBT community protests in Bangalore, demands repeal of anti-gay law

Bangalore, Nov 24 (ANI): LGBT community protested in Bangalore demanding repeal of anti-homosexual law by the central government. Slogan-shouting and placards holding LGBT community members demanded equal rights for themselves from the government. The Supreme Court in December 2013 outraged activists when it reinstated a law against gay sex, following a four-year period of decriminalization, which had helped bring homosexuality into the open in India.

Villagers go on rampage after death of Indian girl in Bhutan

Jalpaiguri, Nov 24 (ANI): Protesters turned violent at Indo-Bhutan border check post on Sunday over the unnatural death of an Indian girl in neighbouring Bhutan. Violence erupted when Bhutan police surrendered the girl's dead body to the family members without explaining the cause of death. The villagers blocked the Chamurchi Indo-Bhutan border check post in Jalpaiguri district. Meanwhile, the girl's family has alleged that she was raped and murdered. 17 years Symuta Lohar used to work as a domestic help at a professor house in Bhutan from the past few years.

Explosion in Assam kills one person, injures 16

Dibrugarh, Nov 24 (ANI): At least one person was killed and 16 others were injured after an explosion took place in Assam on Sunday evening. The blast took place in Rajgarh area of Dibrugarh district. The cause of the blast has not been ascertained so far. The injured were admitted in a local hospital where one person was declared brought dead. Police has launched a massive manhunt to nab the culprits.

Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his condolence and said that Deora was his close friend and one of the longest serving leaders. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed grief over the news and said that he will pray for Deora's soul. Maharashtra Rural Development Minister Pankaja Munde and BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh also expressed their condolences.

Bombs hurled at BJP rally in West Bengal

Howrah, Nov 24 (ANI): Bombs were hurled at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) rally in Bandhaghat area of West Bengal's Howrah city. Two BJP workers who were reportedly injured by the bomb have been taken to the hospital. According to the media reports, the crude bomb was hurled during a clash between BJP and Trinamool Congress supporters. BJP's Howrah Unit Convener Sanjay Singh said that TMC workers were shouting slogans and disrupting the meeting that was being held in Bandhaghat. He added that the TMC party workers even clashed with the police force.

Senior Congress leader Murli Deora passes away in Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 24 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Murli Deora passed away in Mumbai after a prolonged illness on Monday. Deora was unwell from a long time and was admitted to a hospital. Several Congress leaders are expected to attend the funeral which will take place later in the day. A regional party leader expressed grief over the demise of Deora. Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered his condolences on the demise of the minister. Modi tweeted, "A dedicated leader, Murli Deora's warm nature made him popular across party lines. News of his demise is saddening. My deepest condolences to @milinddeora and the Deora family on Shri Murli Deora's demise. May his soul rest in peace."
