New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 104.19 points up to stand at 28,888.86. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 33.90 points up to stand at 8,729.50. JUBILANT and TATA ELXSI LTD. were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.33% and 8.56% along with MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD. and CORPORATION BANK with an increase of 7.00% and 5.89% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include NATCO PHARMA LTD. and GDL with a decrease of 5.90% and 5.62% along with RALLIS INDIA LTD. and ITC with a decrease of 5.47% and 5.01% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 13.81 points at 19,666.49 while the banking sector is up 87.73 points at 22,721.16 and the reality sector is down 3.64 points at 1,639.74. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 144.90 points up to stand at 8,695.60. GDL and PRESTIGE were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.96% and 7.05% along with ABAN and HDFC with an increase of 6.29% and 5.63% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include PMCFIN and RAJESH EXPORTS with a decrease of 4.96% and 4.43% along with MINDTREE LTD and MAHINDRA and MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD. with a decrease of 4.17% and 3.80% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 136.84 points at 19,658.28 while the banking sector is up 409.99 points at 22,633.4 and the reality sector is up 19.49 points at 1,643.38. Wipro quarterly profit beats estimates

Bengaluru, Jan 17 (ANI): India's third-biggest software services company Wipro reported a near-9 percent rise in third-quarter profit, slightly ahead of analysts' forecasts, helped by a rise in clients' technology spending. The company said revenue from its IT services business is expected to be $1.8 billion to $1.85 billion in the January-March period, representing growth of up to 3.4 percent from the preceding quarter. Wipro also announced the appointment of Jatin Dalal, senior vice president in the finance department, to take over from retiring CFO Suresh Senapaty from April. Jan 17, 2015
