Popular actresses like Sara Khan, Rakhi Sawant, Mahika Sharma and Sofia Hayat demanded freedom from trolls on social media this Independence day.

Actress Sara Khan, has recently been trolled for wearing a swim-suit, and posting on social media. Breaking silence on the trolling, Sara said that she lives her life on her own terms.

"Why should I live my life for others? I am living my life on my own principles. I am well educated and understand what is wrong or right for me. Trolls need to get a life. Time has actually come when we need freedom from all negativity. I just look ahead to welcome well wishes and positivity from my fans," she said.

Controversial diva, Rakhi Sawant who late have been posting funny videos on Instagram, is another favourite target for the trolls. However, Rakhi said that she does not care about such negativity.

"I live in an independent nation. I enjoy my life my way. I do whatever I enjoy. And my fans and friends enjoy with me. I don't fake around. Trolls can't make me a puppet, and make me dance on their wish. I just don't care whatever they write against me. Because at the end of the day people know who Rakhi Sawant is," she said.

When it comes to model-turned-nun Sofia Hayat, she believes in giving it back to the trolls at times.

"I am really happy. I am working hard and earning well for myself. Many Hollywood stars come to me and seek my blessing. They find a God inside me. They are overwhelmed with my supernatural powers. The Hollywood stars come here for healing. I have been most of the times trolled or asked about 'my charge' for sexual pleasure, most of the time only by Indians. They need to learn and show respect, hence, I give them back a lesson."

Actress Mahika Sharma, who has been in the news for her bold statements and pictures, said trolls are uneducated people. They are the same 'aunties' who used to gossip behind others when social media did not exist.

"Trolls have always tried to become my unpaid teacher. They are free to educate me. But I am not interested in those gossiping aunty. I am living a very beautiful life, and enjoying every bit of it," she stated.

In a mutual statement, the four controversial divas said, "Independent India need to be free from trolls now."
