Documentary based on 'Gulaab Gang gets theatrical release

Mumbai, Feb 04 (ANI): As Bollywood divas, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Juhi Chawla promote their upcoming women-centric film 'Gulaab Gang,' the spotlight has shifted to a documentary named 'Gulabi Gang' that also sheds light on the same subject. The movie emphasises on the lives of women in rural India whose rights are extensively suppressed in patriarchal societies. The documentary 'Gulabi Gang' directed by Nistha Jain, is based on ‘Sampat Pal’ who is the central force behind this group and the fiery women who take up the fight against gender violence, caste oppression and widespread corruption in Bundelkhand region of central India.

New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Bollywood’s bubbly actress Parineeti Chopra who is all set to cheer up the silver screen with her upcoming film ‘Hasee toh Phasee’ was in New Delhi along Sidharth Malhotra to promote the film. Parineeti who is essaying the role of a mental scientist in the film says that she is not just a drama queen in the movie but is the same in real life too. While the lead actor Sidharth Malhotra spoke about his character and said that he is not a typical hero in the movie. Directed by Vinil Mathew and produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap the film is slated for a February 7th release.

Ilayaraja's new record for Bala
