Mumbai, April 14 (ANI): India's melody queen, veteran Bollywood playback singer Lata Mangeshkar announced this year's prestigious singing talent awards dedicated to her late father Deenanath Mangeshkar in Mumbai on Sunday. Lata, daughter of famed musician Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar, has lent her voice to songs in hundreds of Bollywood films and also in 36 regional Indian languages as well as foreign languages. The powerhouse of talent, Lata told mediapersons that Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar awards were introduced in the year 1999. Meanwhile, the veteran Bollywood singer said that the biggest award was love, affection and appreciation she gets for her work from the people.
