Actress Sri Reddy has apparently slammed Tamil actor Karthi for using her name for the promotion of Kadaikutty Singam. She challenged to cut her head, if he provides the proof of blackmail.
Sri Reddy recently made random allegations against some Kollywood celebs, which did not go down well with Nadigar Sangam general secretary Vishal, who asked her to come forward with evidence. Karthi, the treasurer of the association, also spoke about her during the promotion of Kadaikutty Singam and called her accusations baseless. He added that she should have approached the police if she had proof.
Karthi's statement hurt Sri Reddy, who took to her Facebook page and threatened the association. She wrote on July 21, "I am trying to talk with nadigar sangam..respected karthi sir's words r painful..I hope everything wl go smooth..or else I wl make u to understand my pain for sure..Nadiyar sangam is there for the solve the artist problems,Not to give useless suggestions..imagine my pain k,dnt talk logics sir.."
Sri Reddy revealed on Facebook on July 22 that show would hold she would hold a press meet in Chennai on Monday and requested all media houses to attend it. The actress posted, "Tomorrow we have a press meet in chennai..please all channels should attend..thanks for the support Chennai.."
Sri Reddy added, "I am going to talk with nadiagar sangam..I wanted to sort out the problems..it wl b completely on women issues..i called to nasir Garu wl see what wl happened..if any one in press meets or through media if any one talk against me or any other women ..law is telling like this to punish it wl come under domestic violence and eve teasing sections 294 and 509 Offensive propaganda act 1986 498A of ipc Unnecessary dnt get into the problems and I am ready to attend any kind of investigations on what ever I talked..satyameva jayathe..jaihind [sic]"
Later in the midnight of Monday, Sri Reddy apparently condemned Karthi for using her name to promote his movie Kadaikutty Singam. She denied the charges of prostitution and blackmailing celebs. She said that celebs, who had sex with her, did not pay her single penny and sent her out with empty stomach. She is ready to cut her head, if he provides proof for blackmailing any celeb.
Sri Reddy posted on Facebook, "I am feeling really sorry about my self today..by the way i used to it..dnt worry mr.,u did it for the movie promotion,no worries,I feel happy if ur movie get succeed..on victim also you are trying to do get publicity and film business hats off..u gave me very respectful position which no girl can tolerate..by the way I should say that I didn't take single rupee from so called producers or heroes or directors..I shut my mouth purposely today..u dnt think that I wl forget you..if u hv blackmail avidence u provide it..i wl cut my head immediately..prostitute at least wl get some money but what u forgot is I didn't take single paisa, worst thing is after they had sex wt me they sent me out with empty stomach.. they didn't even feed me food..i am waiting for nadiagar sangam appointment.."
