BMW G 310 R
BMW Motorrad India launched the G 310 R roadster along with the adventure sibling the G 310 GS on July 18 this year. Priced at Rs 2.99 lakh, the motorcycle has been developed in Munich, Germany by BMW Motorrad while it is been produced at Hosur in India by cooperation partner TVS Motor Company.
The G 310 R embodies the pure essence of a BMW roadster. The motorcycle has clearly taken inspiration from the bigger capacity BMW S 1000 R, in terms of design. The striking headlamp, muscular fuel tank, attractive trim elements and characteristic roadster proportions give the motorcycle a contemporary and mature look.
Newly developed 313cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine with 33.5bhp of power and torque of 28Nm is the powerhouse of the G 310 R. The mill comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. BMW G 310 R gets premium cycle parts like the upside down front forks and monoshock suspension at the rear. A 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm unit at the rear along with ABS provides stopping power. The G 310 R is available in Style HP, Cosmic Black and Racing Red colour options.
