Speculations are rife after a movie poster titled "Zila Gorakhpur" was released on Saturday, July 29. Interestingly, many film buffs believe that it could be the biopic on the life of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

The film is said to be based on the incidents of mob lynching in UP. The poster shows a saffron-clad man standing at a high altitude with his back facing the camera. Twitter is abuzz with rumours that the man resembles Adityanath.

A cow is also seen in the poster, which further suggests it could be a film on the UP chief minister as he has often expressed his love and respect for the animal. However, one thing that might spark a huge controversy is that the person is seen holding a gun in his hand.

The film will be directed by Vinod Tiwari, who had recently made his directorial debut with Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle. He shared the first look on Twitter with a caption that revealed that the movie will focus on the issue of mob lynching. However, he did not mention anything about Yogi Adityanath in the caption but going by the look and title of the film, it is quite evident that it might be based on the controversial politician.

The poster indeed looks promising, and also controversial at the same time. Going by Vinod's earlier tweets, he appears to be a Bharatiya Janata Party supporter, and thus, the movie might be pro-BJP in nature.

Earlier, a documentary was made on the rise of Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party. The film had received a good response and was screened in several film festivals.

Meanwhile, a biopic on the life of PM Narendra Modi is also on the cards. Veteran actor Paresh Rawal is rumoured to play the role of PM Modi. While another film titled The Accidental Prime Minister is also going to be released soon. Starring Anupam Kher in lead, it is based on the life of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
