Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha's heart-warming, off-screen equation during "R...Rajkumar" promotions had sparked numerous rumours, but the two rubbished it saying they were (just) good friends.
Film stars lead busy lives. Once a film is out for the audience to enjoy, they get back to their respective schedules, until of course, an event brings them together. This is precisely how Sonakshi and Shahid met and bonded at a car launch recently.
From the photos, looks like the two engaged in some friendly banter during which Sonakshi even posed as if she were strangling her buddy. While the "Haider" star readily obliged to smile for the shutterbugs, Miss "Tevar" reportedly blew kisses in her co-star's direction.
While the actors' fans would love them to get together for 'real', the actress had earlier said how she gets along with Shahid really well and that's that.
"No, I'm not dating Shahid Kapoor. I should put it on a tape recorder or I should tattoo that on my head," she told Stardust, and said the suave actor is very honest and real. "I think he is very honest and a real person which is very rare to find. He is chilled-out and easy to get along. I think anyone would get along with him."
However, she also made it clear how she loves being in love and that she was in a relationship which her family was aware. The gorgeous actress, who is known to speak her mind, added how being romantically inclined toward a co-star just complicates things.
"If today, you're with someone, and tomorrow, you've had a bad break-up, you won't work with the person ever again in your life. What's the point? It's good to have a professional relationship with the people you work, and not mix the two. That's one funda I've got sorted in my head," she pointed out.
