BJP chief alleges Congress has looted Jharkhand

Ranchi, Dec 4 (ANI): BJP Chief Amit Shah alleged that the opposition, Congress party has looted Jharkhand and never allowed a stable government in the state. Shah was addressing a rally in Bermo town in the Bokaro district of the state on Thursday. The first phase of polling was held on Tuesday (November 25). The five-phased polls in the state will end on December 20 and counting of votes will take place on December 23. Shah attacked the Congress party alleging it was responsible for the backwardness of the state. Shah said it was time to vote for change and good governance.

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Janata Dal United leader Nitish Kumar said that Samajwadi Party Chief Mulayam Singh Yadav will take charge of talks to unite parties belonging to the _Janata parivaar_. The erstwhile Janata Dal family, including Janata Dal (United), Janata Dal (Secular), Indian National Lok Dal, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) today met at Mulayam Singh Yadav_s residence to discuss the modalities for their merger and to create a new party with the objective of countering the policies of the ruling National Democratic Alliance(NDA). Addressing mediapersons after the meeting, Nitish said that there were discussions on current political scenario and was decided that parties will work together inside and outside Parliament. He added that next meeting will be on 22nd December which will be followed by a protest over black money issue.

BJP-Shiv Sena unite, Sena to get five Cabinet berths in Maharashtra govt

Mumbai, Dec 4 (ANI): After 70 days of bitter squabbling BJP and Shiv Sena once again came together and announced their alliance in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday in a joint press conference announced that Shiv Sena will join his ministry. Fadnavis added that 12 ministers from Shiv Sena would take oath, five of cabinet rank and seven ministers of state. According to the media reports, the ministers will be sworn in on Friday.

Young Indian Muslim males barred from entering Iraq, politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 4 (ANI): Alshaya Nasser Travels, one of the two Iraqi government-authorized agencies that facilitate visa processing, has asked tour operators not to accept passports from Indian applicants who are single, under 30 and unaccompanied by family members. The advisory comes after four Kalyan youths, all single and under 30, used the pilgrimage route to travel to Iraq in May and joined the jihadist outfit ISIS there. Politicos reacted on the issue.
