AAP ready for probe on source of party funds: Kejriwal

New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that AAP is ready for any kind of probe on the source of party funds. However, he also added that along with the AAP, the BJP and the Congress should also reveal their source of funding. Earlier in the day, Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde said that the government was probing complains that AAP was receiving funds in violation of FCRA.

Chhattisgarh polls commences amidst security

Chhattisgarh, Nov 11 (ANI): People in Chhattisgarh cast their votes during the first phase of polling for the state assembly which started on Monday. Director General of Police of Raipur, Ram Niwas said that with the support of people and security forces, a micro level planning has been done at the polling booths. Officials assured strict policing in Maoist affected area during polls. The Rajnandgaon constituency is completely a Maoist-affected area while rest of the constituencies is partially affected.

Mumbai building fire kills four

Mumbai, Nov 11 (ANI): A seven-storey Slum Rehabilitation Area (SRA) building in Vikhroli area of Mumbai caught fire in the early hours of Monday killing four people and injuring atleast 10 others. As per officials, the fire erupted at around 2:30 at night in a meter cabin of the building, and is said to have spread through a wire in there. Four fire engines, four tankers and an ambulance reached the spot and the fire has been put out. Rescue operations are on at the site and injured have already been admitted to different government hospitals.

Two shot dead in Kolkata street firing

Kolkata, Nov 11 (ANI): Two persons were shot dead and at least 10 were injured after 10-15 unidentified people entered a kindergarten school building compound in Kolkata and started firing, confirmed Joint Commissioner of Police (crime) Pallab K Ghosh on Monday. Ghosh said that four people are detained including one woman and the investigations are on.
