Sartaz Azizs meet with Hurriyat a govts failure, presents India as weak nation: Defence Expert

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): As the meeting between Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz with Hurriyat leaders is underway, Defence Expert Bharat Verma said that the meeting is a government’s failure and that it will present India as a weak nation in front of Pakistan. Further, he said that the government should not have allowed this meeting to take place at all. He also said that the meeting and Aziz’s arrival in India gives a message that Pakistan don’t give a damn about India and its policies and its sentiments and they will do whatever they desire knowing that the nation’s government is weak.

BNP look to gain political mileage with caretaker government demand-Indian expert

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): As Bangladesh reels from the deaths of protesters, fears have been raised that the country's system of democracy is under threat, with forthcoming elections altogether derailed. Opposition leader Begum Khaleda Zia of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) is demanding that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigns to make way for a non-partisan caretaker government to oversee the elections, which are due by early January 2014. New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): After the meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz in New Delhi, Moderate Hurriyat Conference Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that the focus of meeting was Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Hurriyat wants cooperation and not confrontation. He further said that ceasefire and demilitarization should start and that proper support can solve the Kashmir issue. He also said that Aziz informed that new democratic government in Pakistan will support the cause.

British royals meet war veterans and Indian defence staff on Remembrance Day

Mumbai, Nov 10 (ANI): British royal couple Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited St. John the Evangelist Church on Sunday in Mumbai and met few of the war veterans and Indian Defence Staff on Remembrance Day. The British royals participated in the Remembrance Day function at the church, where they were warmly received and presented bouquets of flowers and the Army band played music blowing the pipes and beating the drums. The Remembrance Day is organized at the church every year by retired defence personnel association. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall became the first royal couple to commemorate the Remembrance Sunday in India.

Syed Akbaruddin on PM's letter to Sri-Lankan president Mahinda Rajapaksa

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): Congress has approached the Election Commission seeking stern action against BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for his “khooni panja” remark against the party. RSS organizes marathon for youth in New Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organized a marathon for the youth in New Delhi to mark 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Sunday. The marathon, 'Run for awakening the nation', was organized at 17 different places across New Delhi. RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav flagged off the marathon and spoke about Swami Vivekananda's teachings. Madhav stressed upon his philosophies and said that the youth should contribute in nation building. Swami Vivekananda is the famed philosopher-thinker and founder of a social and religious organisation, Ramakrishna Mission.
