Ralegan Siddhi, Dec 12 (ANI): Aam Admi Party leader, Kumar Vishwas on Thursday visited Ralegan Siddhi where Anna Hazare is on an indefinite hunger strike to demand the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill be passed in the ongoing winter session of Parliament. Vishwas said that the Jan Lokpal bill should not become a Jokepal bill and should be passed by the government as it is and not a line should be changed.

Akhilesh govt committed severe lapses in state administration: BSP on HC's rule on terror cases

New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): The Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Thursday ruled that the state cannot withdraw cases against terror accused without the central government's approval. Reacting on the same, BSP leader, Sudhindra Bhadoria on Thursday slammed SP government and said that it has shown no respect for law and judiciary and the ruling shows that the Akhilesh government has committed severe lapses in the state administration.

SP will never punish anyone innocent: Azam Khan on HC's rule on terror case

Lucknow, Dec 12 (ANI): After the Allahabad High Court rapped SP government in UP saying that it cannot withdraw terror cases without the consent of the Centre, party leader Azam Khan said that the party will never punish anyone who is innocent irrespective of his caste or religion. The High Court order came after the state government withdrew terror cases against 19 Muslims who were accused in terror cases. Khan also said that Congress led central government can pass food security bill but are not in favour of bill meant for saving innocent lives.

Withdrawing terror cases involve political interest: RK Singh on Allahabad's HC ruling

New Delhi, Dec 12 (ANI): After the Allahabad High court ruled out that SP government in UP cannot withdraw terror cases without the Centre's consent, former union Home Secretary RK Singh favored the ruling and said that if a political party withdraws a terror case, it definitely involves political interests. Further, he said that the Supreme Court had already cleared that withdrawing such cases must be done with the consent of the central government. Singh also said that it's sad that people are placing political interests ahead of national interests.
