Some leading manufacturers are all set to release their new line of flagship handsets next month. Here are some of the most expected launches:

Samsung Galaxy Note 5:

Samsung, the world's top smartphone maker, confirmed early this week that it will host the launch of second edition of "Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015" on 13 August in New York City. In all probability, Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be unveiled in the second week of the month.

This is the first time that the company has strayed off the September launch schedule for Galaxy Note series since 2011. It has been reported that Samsung has advanced the devices' launch date to August so that Galaxy Note 5 reaches stores early and get a head-start over arch-rival Apple's 2015 iPhone editions, which are slated to be unveiled in September. Samsung is reportedly planning to release the phablet on 21 August in select markets, just a week after the unveiling.

Expected features of Samsung Galaxy Note 5:

As per recent reports, Galaxy Note 5, internally known as "Project Noble, is expected to flaunt a 5.67-inch super AMOLED QHD (2560x1440p) display and house the company's proprietary Exynos 7422 SoC (System on Chip) backed by Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage with option for expansion via microSD card slot.

Galaxy Note 5 is also expected to come with new stylus - 'S-Pen', which is said to resemble an actual pen and come with matching phablet colours - gold, white, black and silver.

Under the hood, it is said to ship with 32GB inbuilt memory, 16mp camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), 4K video recording ability, a 5mp snapper on the front and a 3000 mAh battery.

Besides Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Asus is also expected to launch Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone Selfie, which were were originally unveiled in Computex 2015 in Taipei last month.

Asus Zenfone Laser:

It sports a 5.0-inch display and houses Snapdragon 410 series chipset, 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB memory.

The key attribute of the new Asus Zenfone model is that it boasts a 13mp camera with an advanced value-added Laser auto-focus feature.

For the uninitiated, this laser-based auto-focus feature measures the distance between the subject and the camera using a laser beam enabling quick capture of good quality photos even under low light conditions. LG G3 (2014) and G4 (2015) are the only tier-1 branded smartphones in the industry to house this feature.

Asus Zenfone Selfie:

As the name suggests, Zenfone Selfie's USP is its front camera. It boasts a 13mp camera with f/2.2, 24mm wide angle, five-prism Largan lens, Toshiba 1/3.2-inch sensor, Dual LED real-tone flash, HDR and low-light selfie feature.

On the rear-side, it comes equipped with equally superior 13mp camera with Laser auto-focus feature like we see in Zenfone Laser device. It also features a 64-bit class Snapdragon 615 Octa-core CPU, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB inbuilt memory and a 3,000 mAh battery.

OnePlus 2 was officially unveiled on 27 July and is now all set to release on 11 August across 11 regions of US, Canada, India, EU (Europe Union), China and later it will be rolled out in Southeast Asia in Q4 of 2015.

OnePlus 2 boasts top-of-the-line features like premium magnesium-aluminum metal alloy chassis, pure steel accents on home button and camera module.
