There won't be anything like Naatu Naatu in Varanasi: SS Rajamouli

Director SS Rajamouli says that his highly-anticipated movie Varanasi will have great music, great songs, but there won't be anything like Naatu Naatu. The paying element will be giving more high than my previous.

Music is one element that has paid off well in terms of success of Rajamouli's movies. All eyes are set on the songs of Varanasi. Viewers are eagerly waiting for the release of its soundtracks. But the director says that he does not want to recreate music from his previous successful movies.

In a recent interview, SS Rajamouli said, "It's big trap that many filmmakers tend to fall in to. They try to see what are the elements in previous successful film. How do we recreate that? Each film is different. Each film has different unique points with different emotions and different highs."

SS Rajamouli said, "I feel we should concentrate on how to make that high higher, bigger or more paying element rather than trying to recreate from previous success. We feel great about Naatu Naatu and how it performed worldwide. I look in to Varanasi as how can I get that kind of hype, but I don't like to recreate that music in to Varanasi."

Varanasi will have great music and great songs that will be fresh. The director added, "The movie will have great music, great songs, but there won't be anything like Naatu Naatu. The paying element will be giving more high than my previous. Not putting elements that worked previously."

Talking about the toughest thing in Varanasi, SS Rajamouli said, "The sequence I know which will be tough to full off is the sequence we have already shot. It is Ramayana episode. We have already shot the episode. We know that VFX work is going to be tough job."

Talking about its shooting, the director said that 50 percent of shoot is completed and another 50 percent will be completed by June. He said, "We have completed 50 percent of the shoot and another 50 percent is balance. We think we will finish remaining shoot by next June."
