Simmba (Simba) starring Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Sonu Sood, which has opened to rave reviews from critics and audience alike, has also witnessed a very good occupancy in the morning shows across the country.
The movie, which also features Akshay Kumar as ATS officer Veer Suryavanshi and Ajay Devgn as Singham in a special appearance, registered upto overall 35-40 per cent occupancy in the morning shows. In some parts of the country, it witnessed 55-60 percent occupancy especially among the mass circuits.
The footfalls for Simmba (Simba) is expected to increase from 50 per cent in the afternoon till 80 per cent in the night shows owing to the positive word of mouth from the audience. The movie has also registered good numbers from the advance booking which was opened online a few days prior to its release on December 28.
Considering the hype and positive reviews pouring in on social media, Simmba (Simba) is expected to rake in upto Rs 25 crore (approximately) on the first day of its release.
Simmba, which is an official remake of Telugu film Temper starring Jr NTR in lead, tells a story of a corrupt cop Sangram Bhalerao (played by Ranveer Singh) who develops a conscience after tragedy hits his loved ones.
