Mega star Chiranjeevi Konidela has confirmed that Ram Charan and his wife Upasana have been blessed with twins – a baby boy and a baby girl on Saturday.
It is double celebration for Chiranjeevi, who is basking in on the blockbuster success of Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. The mega star took to his X account on Saturday to share his excitement on the arrival of two new members in his family. He said that both babies are doing well.
Chiranjeevi tweeted on Saturday, "With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins - a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. ✨"
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi Konidela thanked mega family fans for their prayers. He added, "Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes ❤️-Chiranjeevi & Surekha."
Ram Charan sister Sushmita Konidela also tweeted, "2026 is truly a blessed beginning for our entire family ❤️❤️❤️ Becoming 'Attha' once again and this time, with double the joy and love is truly special Congratulations, my dear Charan and Upsi..
The speculation started doing rounds about twins during Diwali 2025 after Upasana shared a video of her seemantham (baby shower). She captioned the video with, "This Diwali is all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings."
Ram Charan is the son of mega star Chiranjeevi and Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C Reddy, the founder of Apollo Hospitals. The two got married in a grand wedding ceremony held in June 2012. They welcomed their first baby – a daughter named Klin Kaara in June 2023. She was recently honoured with the Most Powerful Women in Business Award.
