
Mega power star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana held the traditional Naamkaran (naming ceremony) with a pooja, in the presence of their families. They have named their twins Shivram and Anveera Devi.
Konidela family held the naming ceremony of their twins on February 11 and close family members were present on the occasion. Ram Charan along with his wife has chosen spiritually meaningful names.
X handle Idlebrain jeevi tweeted, "Ram Charan revealed the names of his twins born on Jan 31 - a baby boy and girl. Their naming ceremony was held on Feb 11 with close family. The boy is named Shivram (a blend of Lord Shiva & Lord Rama, also inspired by his father's name), and the girl is Anveera Devi ("An" = infinite, "Veera" = courage, "Devi" = divine power). He shared that he and Upasana carefully chose spiritually meaningful names."
Ram Charan is married to Upasana Kamineni at the Temple Trees Farm House in Hyderabad on 14 June 2012. The couple had their first child, a daughter. On 31 January 2026, the couple gave birth to twins – a boy and a girl. Ram Charan's father Chiranjeevi broke the news of arrival of the babies on social media.

Chiranjeevi Konidela tweeted, "With immense joy and a heart full of gratitude, we are happy to share that @AlwaysRamCharan and @upasanakonidela have been blessed with twins - a baby boy and a baby girl. Both the babies and the mother are healthy and doing well. ✨"
Meanwhile, the megastar thanked everyone for their prayers for his family. He added, "Welcoming these little ones into our family is a moment of pure joy and divine blessing for us as grandparents. We sincerely thank everyone for their prayers, love, blessings and good wishes ❤️-Chiranjeevi & Surekha."
