'2.0', undoubtedly the most-anticipated Indian movie of the year, is expected to hit the theatres on November 29. Elevating the hype surrounding the movie to new heights, makers of '2.0' have now released some new stills of the film, and they are absolutely breathtaking. The film which is a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster will feature Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, while Akshay Kumar is playing the lead antagonist.

The new posters and stills which are out now clearly indicate that '2.0' is a film made in Hollywood standards. Some social media users have started claiming that this Shankar directorial will be India's epic reply to Hollywood movies like 'Avengers' and 'Justice League'.

The major highlight of '2.0' posters released until now is the stunning look of Action Khiladi Akshay Kumar. The posters which were released recently showcase the Bollywood star in the role of a 'Birdman', and as per reports, Akshay along with the makeup artists have apparently spent more than six hours to get into the attire of this character.

In a recent talk show on Zee Tamil, Superstar Rajinikanth had also admitted that Akshay Kumar is the real star of '2.0'. During the talk, Rajini revealed that Akshay Kumar has taken so much efforts for this movie, and he even added that the actual show-stealer of the movie will be the 'Padman' star.

Makers of '2.0' are also releasing posters featuring Rajinikanth in three different avatars; Chitti (the humanoid robot), version 2.0 (the powerful upgraded robot) and Vaseegaran, a brilliant robotic scientist. It should be noted that outfits of Chitti seem very similar to that of the old costumes which we have seen in Enthiran. However, the costumes of the upgraded 2.0 robot seem very refreshing, and it literally resembled the superheroes which we have seen in Hollywood movies.

Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, '2.0' also stars Amy Jackson, Kalabhavan Shajon, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Adhil Hussain in other prominent roles. AR Rahman has composed the music of '2.0', while Nirav Shah has handled the cinematography. The film is bankrolled by A Subaskaran in the banner of Lyca Productions.
