PUBG Mobile Season 4 release date confirmed: M762 rifle, rainy weather and more coming

In a brief tweet on Sunday, PUBG Mobile tweeted that the next season in the game, Season 4, is "just around the corner." Without revealing the release date of the next update, PUBG Mobile's announcement confirmed two things: end of the Season 3, which introduced Sanhok map, new weapons and more, and the introduction of exciting new features in the new season.

The tweet instantly sparked curiosity among players, sparking questions like when will the update arrive, what new features can be expected and more. Well, PUBG Mobile may not have confirmed it in the tweet, but those who logged into the game on Monday were welcomed with an announcement notification.

"We will be pushing an update on November 20 without taking the servers offline. Please make sure you have enough space on your device and download the update via Wi-Fi," the announcement notice in PUBG Mobile said.

This confirms PUBG Mobile update 0.9.5 with season 4 is arriving on Tuesday. But what's more exciting is that the servers won't be taken offline as in the case with previous updates, where players were unable to access PUBG Mobile on their phones for several hours.

That's not it. The announcement notice also revealed the new additions coming with the new PUBG Mobile update. They include:

• New M762 automatic rifle in all maps
• New Scooter in Sanhok map
• Dynamic weather in Sanhok, which adds rain effect
• New hardcore mode on Erangel map that eliminates necessary assistance such as enemy footprint and bullet firing direction on the map

In addition to these new features, PUBG Mobile players will also be entering Season 4 in the game. Players get access to Royale Pass Season 4 with the new update. For those unaware of Royale Pass, it allows players complete daily and weekly missions to earn extra points and increase their RP.

PUBG Mobile's Royale Pass Season 4 will have up to 100 RP levels and two options – Elite and Elite Plus - with the same pricing. Players will also get to change their appearance with new clothes, skins and emotes. There will also be some new skins for your weapons, backpacks, vehicles, airplane and parachutes.

Joining in on the Black Friday craze, PUBG Mobile Royale Pass Season 4 will also include heavily discounted packs during the popular shopping extravaganza.
