Prithviraj Sukumaran snaps picture of Mohanlal and Manju Warrier from the sets of Lucifer

Prithviraj Sukumaran, the stylish hunk of Mollywood, is now busy with the shooting of his debut directorial venture 'Lucifer' which will feature the Complete Actor Mohanlal and Lady Superstar Manju Warrier in the lead roles.

As the shooting of the movie is progressing steadily, the official Facebook page of 'Lucifer' has shared a candid image of Mohanlal and Manju from the sets of the movie, and the page has given the picture credit to Prithviraj.

As per close sources to the movie, the makers are busy shooting some crucial scenes in Mumbai after completing the Kerala schedule. After wrapping up this schedule, makers of the movie will soon gear up with the post-production works, and the film will hit the screens in summer 2019.

Mohanlal will be seen playing the character of a daredevil politician named Steven Nedumpilly in 'Lucifer'. Apart from Mohanlal and Manju Warrier, the film also features an ensemble star cast including big names like Tovino Thomas, Vivek Oberoi, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kalabhavan Shajon, and Saikumar.

Touted to be a political thriller, the screenplay of 'Lucifer' is penned by Murali Gopy. It should be noted that Murali Gopy is a master craftsman in penning political stories, and his previous movie on the same genre 'Left Right Left' was a mammoth critical success even though it failed to make it big at the box-office.

Sujith Vasudevan is cranking the camera for 'Lucifer', while Samjith Mohammed is handling the editing. The movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Mohanlal is now awaiting the release of his upcoming flick 'Odiyan' directed by V A Shrikumar Menon. This film also has Manju Warrier playing the female lead. The trailer of this movie was released a few weeks back and it received positive reviews from audiences and critics alike. 'Odiyan' is expected to hit the screens on December 14, 2018.
