Gehlot Launches Web Portal 'Pehchaan'

Jaipur, Sep 30 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot launched a web portal "Pehchaan" in Jaipur which will accept applications for birth and death certificates. The Portal will initially benefit applicants of Kota, Sikar and Ajmer districts, under a project of State Strategic Statistical Plan in collaboration of NIC. The entire data of birth and death certificates released by the administration and local bodies will be available on the portal. Also, the new applicants can fill forms for these certificates via the portal. The department, after receiving the application, will forward it to the concerned municipal body to generate the desired certificate.

BJP demands employment for poor, not appeasement

Kolkata, Sep 30 (ANI): BJP Chief Rajnath Singh took a jibe at the Congress party-led central government by contending that the country's poor masses need employment to liberate them and shouldn't be used as tools for garnering votes. Lambasting the Congress party for its policies, he said that in the period of 54 years of rule, it has created poor and then given it crutches for survival. Further Singh assailed Vice President of the Congress Party Rahul Gandhi for his utterances in public and said that he has hurt the country's integrity by his remarks.

Shindes letter to befool Muslim leaders: Shahid Siddiqui

Fodder scam: BJP welcomes Lalu Prasad's conviction

New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday welcomed the CBI court's verdict in the infamous Fodder Scam in Ranchi in which RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and 44 others were convicted. Law has taken its own course: CPI (M) on fodder scam verdict

New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): After RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav was held guilty in the infamous Fodder Scam on Monday, Communist Party of India-Marxist leader Brinda Karat said that it is a judicial verdict after a legal process and the law has taken its course. Lalu Prasad has been held guilty in the Fodder Scam and the quantum of sentence for the same will be pronounced on 3rd October. The Special CBI Court found all 45 accused, including Lalu guilty on Monday.
