Five injured in bomb blast in Imphal

Imphal, Oct 29 (ANI): Five persons were injured when militants exploded a powerful bomb in a market complex in Imphal, on Tuesday. The bomb exploded near Bheirodan School in Khwairamband market complex, about 1km away from the official residence of chief minister Okram Ibobi Singh. According to police, the bomb was an improvised explosive device.

Patna blasts: Shinde cancels Bihar visit

New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, who has drawn sharp criticism from the opposition parties for attending a Bollywood event hours after multiple blasts killed six people in Patna, has cancelled his visit to Bihar. According to reports, Union Home Secretary Anil Goswami and other senior officials will visit Patna today to assess the situation in the aftermath of Sunday's serial blasts in the city. Shinde had earlier on Monday said that he would be visiting Patna to take stock of the situation there.

Demand for Bangladesh caretaker govt intensifies pre general elections
