Ramp outside Shah Rukh Khan's house demolished

New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Residents living near Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan's residence in India's western Mumbai city rejoiced after civic body demolished an illegal ramp outside his house, which was causing inconvenience to commuters. As per reports, civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), workers and police reached Khan's residence, known as 'Mannat', in Bandra early morning to raze down the ramp.Residents celebrated with sweets as their numerous letters and requests to the BMC finally resulted in results. The demolition work started after a seven-day notice period to the actor had expired as per reports.

New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Taking a jibe at the Hindu Maha Sabha, Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Saturday extended Valentine Day wishes to those who love abusing him and called the former the 'spoil sports'. "Happy Valentine's Day to all. More to all those who love abusing me! Damn all the spoil sports like Hindu Maha Sabha and other fringe elements," he tweeted. The Hindu Mahasabha has planned to oppose "western ways" of displaying affection on Valentine's Day today by floating its own traditional equivalent to celebrate the festival of love.

Arvind Kejriwal takes charge as the Chief Minister of Delhi

New Delhi, Feb 14 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday took charge as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Earlier in the day, he took oath as the 8th Chief Minister of Delhi at the Ramlila Maidan. He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. Along with Kejriwal, six other Aam Aadmi Party leaders - Manish Sisodia, Asim Ahmed Khan, Sandeep Kumar, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai and Jitender Singh Tomar were also sworn-in as cabinet ministers. Kejriwal is expected to hold his first cabinet meeting at around 4 pm. This will be Kejriwal's second term as Delhi Chief Minister.
