PlayStation 4 gets Share Factory update.Facebook

PlayStation 4 users are in for some special treatment as Sony has announced a new Share Factory update that will see the addition of new themes and tools.

Stuart Platt, senior producer at SCEA, said via a post on the PlayStation blog that the new update was released, following the feedback from players and promised them that with these tools, players will be able to take creativity to the next level.

The new update will allow console owners to purchase and download the new themes. They can do this directly via PlayStation Store.

Below are some of the themes that have been added in the new update:

  • Destiny
  • Pro Evolution Soccer 2015
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Killzone Shadow Fall
  • LittleBigPlanet3

Owners will be able to purchase Share Factory update with a theme of the 80s by shelling out $1.99. Apart from this, there will be a new gallery feature, which will make it easier for owners to share their completed project. Players will only need to hit the share button that is available on the screen and they will be able to upload the videos on YouTube and Facebook page, all this without having to leave the Share Factory app.

Sony also added that now owners will be able to add another level of customisation - the personal projects will now have stickers featuring a player's picture and avatars. This was based on a feedback from fans.

It promised that the company will be working on adding more enhancements for this, all based on fan suggestions.
