Director Anubhav Sinha's Bollywood movie Mulk, starring Rishi Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu, has received positive reviews and ratings from the audience.
Mulk is a court-room drama film that has been written by director Anubhav Sinha, who has also jointly produced it with Deepak Mukut under the banners Banaras MediaWorks and Soham Rockstar Entertainment. The movie has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.20 hours.
Mulk movie story: Based on a real-life story, Mulk revolves around the struggles of a Muslim joint family based in a Hindu-dominated locality of Varanasi. The members of the family fight to reclaim their honour after a member of their family joins the terrorists. The patriarch, Murad Ali Mohammed (Rishi Kapoor) and daughter-in-law Aarti (Taapsee Pannu) fight the case and this forms the crux of the story.
Performances: Rishi Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu have delivered wonderful performances, which are the highlights of Mulk. Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Pahwa, Neena Gupta, Prachee Shah Pandya, Vartika Singh, Ashrut Jain and Indraneil Sengupta have also done good jobs, says the audience.
Technical: Mulk has decent production values and background score, dialogues, choreography of stunts and editing are attractions on the technical front, add the viewers.
