Lenovo-owned Motorola released the popular mid-range Moto G6 series in India last month. However, only two models -- a generic Moto G6 and a low-end Moto G6 Play -- made it to the stores. Motorola had not mentioned the release date of the top-end Moto G6 Plus at that time. But, here's a good news; the much-awaited phone is finally coming to stores.
Motorola confirmed on Twitter that Moto G6 Plus will debut in India in early August. Although there was no word on the price of the device, the phone is likely to cost between Rs 16,999 and Rs 19,999 based on the other two Moto G6 series variants.
For the uninitiated, Motorola Moto G6 Plus flaunts a unibody design language with high-grade metal and glass blend on the back exuding glossy premium feel. The iconic batwing Motorola logo has working feature for the first time, as the company incorporated a fingerprint sensor into the circular module below the rear-side camera.
On the front, the device comes with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (2160x1080p) display with 18:9 aspect ratio offering a cinematic viewing experience. It also includes Moto Display and a feature in night mode that lessens the strain on eyes in low-light condition.
Under the hood, it comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor backed by Android Oreo, 4 GB / 6 GB RAM and 32 GB / 64 GB storage, a dual 12MP + 5MP main camera with up to 4KV video recording capability an 8MP front-snapper. The 3,200mAh battery (with Turbo Charger) can the keep phone running for a whole day under regular usage.
