If you a supercar enthusiast in India, you must be following Bengaluru-based Boopesh Reddy's Bren Garage Instagram page. One of the Bengaluru's most progressive developers, Reddy is also a supercar collector and above all a petrol head. Scroll through his Instagram page and you will realise he has a special interest towards Porsche supercars. The business magnate has added yet another exotic Porsche model in his collection and this time its 911 GT2 RS.

Porsche India launched 911 GT2 RS, the most powerful road-legal 911 variant on July 10 for an eye-watering Rs 3.88 crore. Boopesh Reddy is arguably the first owner of the 911 GT2 RS and he took delivery of his latest priced procession last week. At Bren Garage, the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS has the company of other Porsches like the super rare 911 R, Cayman GT4 and another 911 in addition to the Lamborghini Huracan, Aston Martin DBS, Audi R8 V10 Plus, Mercedes-AMG GT R and Ferrari 458 Speciale.

Revealed at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Porsche 911 GT2 RS is powered by 3.8-litre, flat-six, twin-turbocharged engine that develops astounding 686bhp of peak power and 750 Nm of peak torque. The engine in question is the same one that also does duty in the 911 Turbo S while Porsche engineers have tweaked the unit to juice out more.

The engine comes mated to a seven-speed double-clutch transmission (PDK). The two-seater sports car weighing in at 1,470 kg, sprints from zero to 100kmph in a mere 2.8 seconds. The rear-wheel-drive coupe also boasts an impressive top speed of 340kmph.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS gets powerful air intakes and outlets and the imposing rear wing emphasising on vehicle's aerodynamics. The sports car comes with large and wide wheels complimented by features Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard.

In order to shed some weight, the front wings, wheel housing vents, outer shells of the ORVM, air intakes on the rear side sections and parts of the rear end are made from carbon-fibre reinforced plastic (CFR). The bonnet is also made from carbon to make the vehicle as lightweight as possible, while the standard trim roof is made from magnesium.
