Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Instagram debut went quite unexpected when people started trolling the Fanney Khan actress for posting a picture of kissing her 6-year-old daughter Aaradhya on the lips during her outing at the 71st Cannes Film Festival in May this year. Her Instagram post was flooded with nasty comments and became a victim of moral policing.

While Aishwarya remained silent on the issue, a source close to the Bachchan family had said earlier that it was because of this reason only the Miss World 1994 stayed away from social media all these years. And now the actress has finally opened about how she handles the trolls.

Responding to the criticism she faced for kissing Aaradhya  on lips, Aishwarya told Spotboye in an interview, "People will have an opinion but that won't change what I am doing, how I am taking care of my daughter in a public space. Luckily I reach the story when it becomes a little old. But when I read it after few days, everybody had moved on, so in a way I never let that define me."

She further added while talking about trolls, "That's unfortunate. It's just become accessible. We can't even assess or understand where that is coming from, how do they have the time, inclination to put someone else down and how can that make you feel good. But at the end of the day, we can sit and think about trying to analyze that mindset. Let them help themselves. But what you can help is by not giving importance to it."

Aishwarya has also been the recipient of body shaming when she gained weight post pregnancy. She is currently now in a good shape which is evident on the silver screen.

Speaking about the people who trolled her for her body weight, Aishwarya said, "I had developed the ability way before to not let that define me or upset me or get to me. Infact I use to smile and say how wonderful, i think i am fortunate."

She further added, "It's a question of self-esteem, self-worth. A lot of people cultivate that based on other's opinion, which also in a way is also happening when you are constantly worried about likes and so on. Opinions are going to exist there is no running away from that. We are not saying that has to seize to exist, it can't. But you cannot make it axis of your world."

Aishwarya, who is back with a glamouruous role in Fanney Khan after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also revealed that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had offered her Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani but she turned it down.
