Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in THIS movie with Abhishek Bachchan!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, whose new film Fanney Khan releases in theatres on Friday, August 3, has confirmed that she has signed a new film. The Bollywood actress and former Miss World will be seen next in Anurag Kashyap's film titled Gulab Jamun, which has her husband Abhishek Bachchan opposite her.

There had been reports of this new Abhishek-Aishwarya film and Aishwarya has now confirmed the development to Mid-Day.

"AB (Abhishek Bachchan) and I have agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyaan," Aishwarya told the tabloid.

Abhishek will be seen in Anurag Kashyap's film Manmarziyaan (aka Husband Material) on September 21. It is on the sets of this film that talks of Gulab Jamun were revived, a film first offered to Abhishek-Aishwarya one-and-a-half years ago.

Aishwarya revealed to Mid-Day, "We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take time out. After the hiatus, he returned with Manmarziyaan, which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That's when the chatter around Gulab Jamun began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly."

Recently Abhishek had trashed a media report that wifey Aishwarya had not let him hold their daughter Aaradhya's hand at the airport in Mumbai.

The actor had tweeted, tagging IndiaForums, "With due respect. Please refrain from making up false stories. I understand the need to continously post, but would really appreciate it if you could do so responsibly and without mischievous intent. Thank you." The story was removed by the website.

Abhishek and Aishwarya allegedly had a tiff when he snubbed her at a red carpet event in full public view, an incident denied by AB Junior.

The couple got married on April 20, 2007, and are popular as one of the most beautiful couples of the B-Town.
