2018 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga now offered in Ambitious, Indulge accessory packages

Maruti Suzuki launched the second generation of the Ertiga MPV in India on November 21. Priced from Rs 7.44 lakh to all the way up to Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom), new Ertiga is significantly stylish and premium than the first generation.

Based on the Heart platform that also underpins new generation cars of Maruti Suzuki cars in India, including the Swift, Dzire, Ignis and Baleno, the MPV is 10-20kg lighter than the outgoing model. New Ertiga is also longer than its predecessor. In its latest avatar, the MPV is 4,395mm long, 1,735mm wide and 1,690mm tall while wheelbase remains the same at 2,740mm.

Despite a massive redesign, the basic MPV silhouette of the Ertiga remains unchanged. Chrome bathed new front grille, new projector headlamps, new D-pillar and L-shape tail lamps add liveliness to the new Ertiga. However, if you still want to add more glamour to your new Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki has now launched two accessory packages christened Ambitious and Indulge.
