Tarun Tejpal charged with rape in Goa Police chargesheet

Panaji, Feb 17 (ANI): Goa police on Monday filed chargesheet against former Tehelka Editor-in-Chief Tarun Tejpal under new criminal law amendment act (2013). Tejpal is accused of sexually molesting a junior women colleague inside an elevator in Goa's Grand Hyatt Bambolin Hotel during annual think fest 2013. If proven guilty, Tejpal can be sentenced for more than seven years of imprisonment. The team investigating the case had travelled to New Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore to take the statements of the victim's family and friends.
