Mumbai, March 27 (ANI): Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar felt overwhelmed as he unveiled world’s largest digital photo mosaic of himself in Mumbai. The photo mosaic was adapted from a painting created by ace painter, Viveek Sharma, titled ‘Eye of the Tiger’, which draws parallel between the tiger and the iconic batsman for his strength and valiant acts of courage, bravery and precision. The original painting by Sharma, which illustrates Tendulkar is akin to the ‘King of the Jungle’ and the ruler of the Earth, was also unveiled at the event. Jorhat, March 27 (ANI): In a bid to ensure free and fair general elections, the police stepped up security arrangements in Assam to foil any attempt to disrupt the democratic process. Security personnel were seen manning the streets and checking vehicles in Jorhat. The State government also sought cooperation from neighbouring states for security arrangements. Rajnath Singh demands upgraded security for Modi post suicide bomber threat

Lucknow, Mar 27 (ANI): BJP President Rajnath Singh expressed concern over possible attack on BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, after Intelligence Bureau issued alert of suicide bomber threat. Reportedly, as per the high alert, the attack may be on the lines of assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. The IB reports also stated that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, won’t be shot at, but it is likely that a suicide bomber disguised as a supporter may target him. Centre in favour of Bhullars death sentence commuted to life imprisonment

New Delhi, March 27 (ANI): Giving relief to Devinder Pal Singh Bhullar, the Centre finally agreed on Thursday for commuting his death penalty into life imprisonment on the basis of delay of 18 years in mercy petition. Lawyer KTS Tulsi said that the Attorney general had agreed to the same citing the reason of the delay in the case.
