Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" minted ₹188.57 crore at the domestic box office since its release, but it failed to beat the collections of Aamir Khan starrer "3 Idiots" and Salman Khan's "Ek Tha Tiger".

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#YJHD collected ₹1.58 cr nett in Weekend 5. Grand total: ₹188.57 cr nett. Breakup for Wknd 5:- Fri 35 lacs, Sat 49 lacs, Sun 74 lacs."

After the completion of its fourth week "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" became the first Bollywood film to become the highest grosser ever in Pakistan, beating "Race 2".

The romantic flick, directed by Ayan Mukherji, was declared a blockbuster after it made to the elite ₹100 crore club within days of its release. The film needs to rake in another ₹12 crore to reach the ₹200 crore mark set by "3 Idiots" and "Ek Tha Tiger".

The film, which reunites Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone for the first time post their break-up, also features Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Kochelin in lead roles.

"Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" is Deepika's second film of the year to make it to the ₹100 crore mark. Her January release "Race 2" starring Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez also made it to the century club.

Speaking about the shooting of "YJHD", the 27-year-old actress said, "The fact that we were all like-minded people on the set and had a blast working together, YJHD was a physically strenuous film. We were shooting a love story but it felt like we were making an adventure film. I believe I have come into my own after the movie because my journey in life is similar to that of my character, Naina Talwar."

She also spoke of her post break-up relationship with Ranbir. "Ranbir and I have become a lot closer now. I've known him for quite a while. We have a past but we consciously make sure it doesn't hamper our present. At this point, I share a great comfort level with Ranbir, probably the best comfort level ever," Filmfare quoted Deepika as saying.

Ranbir's next project is Abhinav Kashyap's "Besharam" which will hit screens on 3 October. Deepika has two more projects due to release this year which includes Rohit Shetty's "Chennai Express" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Ram Leela".
